eternally divided humankind asked:

From what I understand, the universe is continuing to expand and galaxies are moving farther away from each other, will that continue, and if it does, will the universe end up somehow freezing due to the distances between the planets from the stars and the distances between galaxies, is that a sound theory?

If so, are there other theories?

I’m an Indonesian, and have a Netherlands residence permit card. Do I still need my passport to travel to EU countries, since the 3 month visa I have inside the passport has expired anyway? And do I queue in the EU line, or the International passport line?

Just an FYI, I like animals. I think they should be treated fairly, although maybe not to the extent PETA would like. But I do not condone animal cruelty. On that same note, first world countries treat animals like royalty at times. There are plenty of pet owners who treat pets like they are their own children and would spend easily 50+ bucks just so they’re dog could get a pampered bath and groom. Meanwhile, a starving third world child may struggles to get even a few cents worth of food with any nutritional value.

I like geography a lot because it revolves around learning how the world is like and the characteristics of the people that inhabit it. I’m hoping to go traveling a lot abroad someday, so my interest in geography ties in with my love for travel.

Hi! I am a young man who never really excelled at much whilst at school.

Since I’m now a bit older, however, I’ve taken a real interest in science. I’d love to try out some simple and straight-forward physics and chemistry experiments in my own home, using domestic equipment (or cheap and easily-obtainable science equipment).

What can you suggest, and why? Thanks!

I don’t know if I’m asking that right …

What I’m wondering is if the entire world would benefit or not from a unit of currency (let’s call it a “Terra” for arguments sake) that isn’t based on any one nations currency but is based more on a Global market and backed by precious metals instead of any type of bank reserve notes.

Or does anything like it currently exist?
