Hi everyone,

I am writing a paper about Norway for a college Geography class and I need to include a discussion of a geography related issue Norway is facing. Any Norwegians out there, I’d love to hear from you! When answering, please let me know your source of information or else include a link, please.

Thanks,

Amy

Just imagine if world leaders decided that enough is enough and put a stop to wars, decided to help each other’s nations and fixed every currency to be all the same. Don’t you think people will be satisefied?

For me, I am scared because I hate school, but I need to take on of these classes in college. I have a bad memory, and may remember things more if I can diagram them. What do you think? Which is easier on tests to remember?

humans eventually result? I know only in the New World (the Americas, Oceania) do people from all over the world “mix”. However, back in the Old World (Europe, Asia, Africa), even neighboring countries do not have any substantial immigration back and forth, if at all. Thus, is it true that, should the populations back in the Old World continue to remain reproductively isolated, then there would eventually the human species would fragment into a number of species that could no longer naturally “interbreed”?

I’m doing a project on chameleons, and this has been puzzling me for awhile. I know veiled, jackson’s, and panther chameleons are often considered old world species, but what are some new world species? What would be some other old world species? How do you tell the difference between old and new world chameleons?

Also, is the term used to describe the idea that the universe is expanding, inflation?

How was it proven that the universe is expanding and who proved it?
What are the consequences of the universe expanding?
How does that affect the universe and all of the galaxies, are stars and galaxies constantly moving away from each other, and if so, are the distances between stars increasing?

I am doing a report on the career of a toxicologist and must include information concerning “Areas of the world you might work in”, referring to whatever the occupation chosen is. Where might a toxicologist work? I would think they would work anywhere in the world, like many occupations, but are there any particular areas of the world they would work in?
Thank you for your help!

Werner von Braun worked with Walt Disney to produce this section about how we might get to Mars. This was actually sent to President Eisenhower & was the current thinking at the time, which became so scaled down to what we did to get to the moon! Rare Walt Disney Space series from 1957, speculating about Mars. Remember, almost 50 years ago, only Sputnik had gone up 2 months earlier!
